Old School – What A Friend We Have In Jesus (Randy Bunyard)

They’re familiar…even comfortable – we even take them for granted. Old melodies and old lyrics. Even the name for them is old: Hymn. Basically, a hymn is just a song sung in honor of or praise for something or someone. Some of them are so familiar that even people that have never been to church know them. But, these old songs  have a story. They’re old songs with older truths. There was a reason they were made. They were born out of real life experiences and situations, and when you know them, they resonate into our modern lives. So let’s go Old School for a little bit and see what new work God can do in our lives.
