My Afghan Interpreter

| Prayer Request: | In 2011-12 I served in the Panjwei'i District, Kandahar Province, Afghanistan. We had an interpreter named "Shah." I did not know his real name. We all thought it was better that way (for his safety.) I just learned that he contacted one of the soldiers in my squad (almost 10 years later) asking for help to leave Afghanistan. Please pray for "Shah!" I know that's not his real name, but God will know who you're talking about. He is a good man and he helped my unit understand what the people in our area were saying. He likely saved many lives of US soldiers by cautioning us against making certain decisions, or traveling in certain directions. A good man! Please pray for Shah. Thank you! Casey Westenrieder |
