What to expect for your kids at THF on Sunday Mornings
Welcome: When you arrive at THF, come to the Southwest doors. Once inside, look for the “Start Here” sign. Families will quickly fill out their basic information and be directed to their child’s group. We also have a little gift box for your family full of information about THF Kids and some other fun goodies. Thank you for trusting us with your children while you worship.
THF Kids Jr (Ages birth-PreK): The Heights Fellowship has an amazing team of volunteers that serve our preschool friends every week at 9:30am and 11:00am. Your child will consistently have the same leader when they come to church. This allows your child to feel safe and welcome as they build a faith foundation. THF Kids Jr is so much more than childcare. Your children will participate in worship, Bible stories, and age-appropriate activities that reinforce each week’s lesson. Our preschool ministry is built on the following basic truths:
- God made me.
- God loves me.
- Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
THF Kids (Kindergarten-5th Grade):
9:30 Service // Kindergarten-3rd grade will meet in the THF Kids Worship Room. There will be an engaging large group environment where we will play a game, worship, and watch our Bible story video. Following large group worship, kids will dive deeper into the story with their small group and learn why the story matters to them every day of the week. 4th and 5th graders will meet in The Summit. They will participate in worship in the main service and return to their room for their Bible story and small group time.
11:00 Service // Kindergarten-5th grade will meet in the THF Kids Worship Room. There will be an engaging large group environment where we will play a game, worship, and watch our Bible story video. Following large group worship, kids will dive deeper into the story with their small group and learn why the story matters to them every day of the week.
